The Winnipeg Jets are already without the services of Bryan Little (concussion) and Dustin Byfuglien (suspension/personal leave). Bad things come in threes, as defenseman Josh Morrissey has gone down with an upper-body injury during the Jets' pre-game warm-ups, forcing him out of tonight's game on Long Island.

The details surrounding the specifics of Morrissey's injury are unknown at this time. His status for Tuesday's game against the Pens is also unknown.

This would be a MASSIVE blow to an already depleted Jets blue line, which was once an area of strength in Winnipeg. The departures of Ben Chiarot (Montreal), Tyler Myers (Vancouver) and Jacob Trouba (New York) have left the cupboards pretty bare for the Jets. The uncertainty of Dustin Byuglien's status has really put the Jets in a defensive quandary.
