It was a pretty quick turnaround for forward prospect Alex Barre-Boulet in Seattle, as the 24-year-old has been claimed by the Tampa Bay Lightning off of waivers.

Barre-Boulet was claimed by the Seattle Kraken on waivers just 11 days ago. He suited up in just two contests for the Kraken over that span, registering 1 assist, prior to being placed on waivers.

It will be interesting to see what happens with Barre-Boulet now that he is back with the Bolts, as he would have to clear waivers to be sent down to Syracuse.

There is also one player being placed on waivers on Friday, as the New Jersey Devils have waived defenseman Colton White for the purpose of assigning him to their AHL affiliate, the Utica Devils. This likely means that defenseman Ty Smith is ready to be activated from injured reserve.

New Jersey entered into a 10-year agreement with the Utica Comets - formerly the Vancouver Canucks' AHL affiliates - earlier this year, which saw the comets re-brand as the Utica Devils.
