Markerzone is an entirely free platform offering sports news, historical statistics (NHL, MLB, NFL, NBA and other sports leagues), tools for managing pools (fantasy leagues) and sports leagues, as well as free games and contests with the chance to win prizes. Please read these Terms of Use carefully before accessing the site, creating an account, participating in a pool, league or game, or submitting any content on www.markerzone.com. By accessing the site or continuing to use it, you agree to be bound by these terms.

Free service

All features offered by Markerzone — including access to news and statistics, the creation and management of pools and leagues, participation in games and contests, and the creation of a user account — are entirely free. No purchase is required to access any feature. H&L Media Inc reserves the right, however, to modify, suspend or withdraw any feature, in whole or in part, at any time and without prior notice.

Age restriction

Markerzone is not intended for persons under the age of 14. You must be at least 14 years old to create an account, participate in a pool, league or game, or submit content on the site. By creating an account, you confirm that you are at least 14 years old. Any account belonging to a person under the age of 14 will be deleted without prior notice. User accounts

Creating an account on Markerzone is free and provides access to certain features (creating pools, participating in leagues, games, comments, etc.). By creating an account, you agree to:

• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

Pools and fantasy leagues

Markerzone provides a free platform allowing users to create, manage and participate in pools and fantasy leagues based on various professional sports leagues. By using this feature, you acknowledge and agree that:

• Pools and leagues are offered for recreational purposes only and do not constitute gambling.
• No wagers, entry fees or monetary exchanges between participants are managed, encouraged or endorsed by Markerzone.
• Pool and league commissioners are solely responsible for the organization, administration and specific rules of their pool or league.
• User-generated content (pool names, team names, comments, etc.) must comply with these terms and must not be offensive, defamatory or contrary to the law.
• H&L Media Inc is not responsible for disputes between participants in a pool or league.

Free games and contests

Markerzone periodically offers free games and contests with the chance to win prizes. These games and contests are governed by the following terms:

• No purchase is required to participate or win.
• Each game or contest may be subject to specific rules (eligibility, duration, entry mechanics, nature and value of prizes, claim procedures) that prevail in case of conflict with these terms.
• Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable for cash, unless otherwise stated in the specific rules of the contest.
• Winners are responsible for any tax, duty or fee applicable to the awarding of the prize, where applicable.
• H&L Media Inc reserves the right to cancel, modify or suspend any game or contest in the event of force majeure, fraud, technical error or for any other reason deemed necessary.
