It was the talk of the hockey world Thursday night when the Carolina Hurricanes created a website specifically designed to troll the Montreal Canadiens. After handing the Habs their fifth straight loss and having new addition Jesperi Kotkaniemi score one of the goals, the Canes released didthehabslose.com, which took web surfers to a site where Sebastian Aho was nodding his head to say yes. It also included Kotkaniemi and Aho t-shirts at the discounted price of $20, which happens to be Aho's number and the signing bonus Kotkaniemi received on his offersheet from the team.

Earlier Friday, it was noticed that the Canes had relinquished the domain name and it was back on the market. Someone didn't waste much time and it now takes you to a site trashing Carolina.

"The press and our clients agree that Hurricane games are the best when they lose...probably because we strive for 0% customer satisfaction," the site reads. "From email updates about how the lost the day before (yes we send out emails about how we lost the game tomorrow before the game starts... we just know it's a loss), we will support you the whole way through misery."

The backdrop for the site reads "Carolina Hurricanes Suck" while the page also takes some time to bash Cook Out, a popular burger and barbecue fast food joint in North Carolina where the Canes are situated.

"We hate the Hurricanes," states the site. "Not even a real team. Cookout isn't even healthy. Cookout is trash."

All in all, the effort seems low compared to the trolling by Carolina's PR team during the Kotkaniemi offersheet and Thursday night's win over Montreal. One thing is certain, though, this rivalry between Montreal and Carolina isn't going away any time soon. To view the updated site, click here.
