In what has been one of the most exciting opening rounds, the controversy in the Oilers and Kings series reached an all-time high in game three after a review in overtime.
After the back-and-forth game went into the extra frame tied 2-2, Edmonton forward
Ryan Nugent-Hopkins was called for slashing just over a minute in. With seconds remaining in the power play,
Trevor Moore scored the game-winner to give LA a 2-1 series lead.
Or so he thought, as officials reviewed the play for a ''missed stoppage of play'' due to Kings forward
Gabriel Vilardi potentially high-sticking the puck.

After over five minutes of the review, the officials deemed there wasn't conclusive evidence to overturn the call on the ice.
