After fighting valiantly in game five to send this series back to Boston, it appears the Bruins may be getting a big boost on Friday, according to the mother of captain Brad Marchand.
Marchand has been missing since game three of this series when a hit from Sam Bennett put him on the sideline, but after practicing in full gear on Thursday, there's optimism within Bruins camp that he will be ready to go ahead of game six. Head Coach Jim Montgomery confirmed on Friday that Marchand will attempt to be ready ahead of game six, officially labelling him as a game-time decision.
With Marchand in the lineup, this team has much more depth and offensive firepower, and with the home crowd behind them and their captain back on the ice, they have a great chance at sending this series back to Florida for a winner-take-all game seven.
