Cole Caufield and Nick Suzuki Make Emotional Comments on Martin St-Louis Leaving the Team

The news about Martin St-Louis stepping back from the team to take care of family matters has been hard on Canadiens fans everywhere. As he works on these matters in private, the people around him have recently made some heartfelt statements.

As fans have started pouring in support for Maritn St-Louis and his family, a number of players on the Canadiens have some emotional comments about his departure from the team. One of these players was right-winger Cole Caufield, who saw St-Louis as the heart of the team.

Nick Suzuki also made remarks on his departure, wishing his former coach well, but still acknowledging the work to be done at hand.

It is very clear that the level of care the Montreal team has for each other and their now former coach after these players' statements. Their newly appointed interim coach Trevor Letowski expressed his appreciation for this camaraderie in a statement after yesterday's game.

With such a sudden turn of events for the Canadiens, it is hard to imagine a full bounce back for the team. However, with such a tightly-knit group, they may just have hope for the future.
