The Boston Bruins and head coach Jim Montgomery have punished a star player for missing part of a team meeting.
DeBrusk Misses Meeting
It has been revealed that Bruins forward Jake DeBrusk has missed part of a team meeting and will be healthy scratched tonight as punishment.

Per Coach Montgomery, Jake DeBrusk was late to a team meeting and will not play tonight in Los Angeles.
DeBrusk was originally the 14th overall pick in the 2015 draft and is coming off a 50-point campaign that saw him score 27 goals.
Seguin Situation Over A Decade Later
Early in his career when he was still with the Boston Bruins, Tyler Seguin missed a team breakfast. It was quickly pointed out how DeBrusk's situation is similar to Seguins.

happy 10 years since seguin was scratched after missing team breakfast babyyyyy
Seguin was moved out in a massive trade a bit after missing the breakfast as management became concerned about his character. If Bruins management becomes uneasy about DeBrusk's character, who has previously requested a trade, they may panic and move him quickly.
Only time will tell what happens with DeBrusk but certainly watch out for his name in the rumor mill in the coming weeks.
Should stars be held accountable for missing meetings?
