A former 1st round pick has been claimed off of waivers by a Western Conference team.

Foudy Claimed By Nashville

Yesterday, the Columbus Blue Jackets placed forward Liam Foudy on waivers with the intention of having him play in the AHL.

However, he had to go through waivers and was claimed by the Nashville Predators.

Nashville claims Foudy

Foudy was the 18th overall pick in 2018 and has elite speed which could translate into becoming a late-blooming star.

Nashville will now try to develop Foudy and unlock the things the Blue Jackets could never get from him.
