The Carolina Hurricanes have been lacking scoring and look to be targeting
Mark Scheifele as their 2nd line center.
RUMOR: Hurricanes Interested In Scheifele
Lack of scoring has been a problem in the Carolina Hurricanes system for a while. It showed especially in the third round where Carolina got swept by Florida losing every game by just one goal.
While they were without two of their top three goal scorers in
Max Pacioretty and
Andrei Svechnikov, they were not able to rely on their scoring depth to win the series against
Sergei Bobrovsky.
Now, they need to address their scoring woes and have been looking at Winnipeg Jets center
Mark Scheifele.
