Nolan Patrick left off Flyers playoff roster

The Philadelphia Flyers announced their playoff roster on Monday, and although there weren't many surprises, one notable name missing was Nolan Patrick.

Patrick, 21, was unable to play a single game in the 2019-20 season due to ongoing concussion problems. The extremely frustrating season and year for the Winnipeg, Manitoba native appears to be continuing with no end in sight. Though there hasn't been much chatter on him for quite some time, he has clearly seen some improvement as he had begun skating prior to the NHL suspending play on Mar. 12 due to COVID-19.

Hopefully by the time the 2020-21 season roles around, Patrick is healthy and ready to go. The talented young forward was selected with the second overall pick at the 2017 NHL Entry Draft. In 145 regular season games to this point, he has recorded 26 goals and 35 assists. He has also played in six post season games, scoring one goal and adding an assist.
