K'Andre Miller, a first round draft pick of the New York Rangers, has signed his entry-level contract with the team. The news leaked to social media Friday night despite the team wanting to hold off until Monday to make the announcement.

According to CapFriendly, the deal is the standard three years with the maximum $925,000 cap hit for the ELC. There is an opportunity for bonuses in all three years of the contract.

Miller was taken 22nd overall in 2018 and came as a highly-touted prospect. The defenceman has put up good numbers the last two seasons with the University of Wisconsin, recording seven goals and 11 assists in 2019-20 in 36 game.

Miller has also played for Team USA at the last two World Junior Hockey Championships, putting up three points in a total of 11 games.
