New Jersey Devils Prospect Drops the Mitts w/ His GM's Son (VIDEO)

The Utica Comets & Rochester Americans are in a tight playoff series in the AHL. Utica is the AHL Affiliate of the New Jersey Devils, & the Rochester Americans of the Buffalo Sabres. Tied 2-2, these two have developed quite the rivalry this season both on the ice & on twitter. Example of the battle of upstate New York below:

But in a pivotal Game 4 of 5, Devils prospect Nikita Okhotiuk dropped the gloves with Casey Fitzgerald of the Americans. Fitzgerald is the son of Devils' GM Tom Fitzgerald. Talk about a way to get noticed by your GM. Think he'll get a look in training camp next year?

After a strong showing in the last few games of the season for NJ, Okhotiuk is showing Devils management he wants a spot on the roster. And there's a pretty famous clip of Tom Fitzgerald from last offseason regarding what the Devils want in their players:
