First Coyotes player set to abandon the team ahead of relocation
A first Coyotes player is set to abandon the team ahead of their relocation to Salt Lake City.
The Arizona Coyotes organization is rumored to move to Utah, in Salt Lake City, after the season. The team reportedly informed the players in a meeting on Friday night.
Later, the team released the following statement:

There has been a lot of discussion in recent days about the future of the Arizona Coyotes. I understand and empathize with the concerns of our fans, our community, our partners, our players, our front office, and all of our team members. I hope to address these issues as soon as I am able to speak on the topics.
We are focused on a myriad of issues that are unresolved, and therefore we are unable to make any official public comments at this time. However, you have my commitment that I am going to speak on all of these issues and publicly address all of your concerns as promptly as possible.

According to a new rumor, the first player to leave the ship has been revealed.
Patrik Koch to leave the Coyotes and sign a contract in the KHL
The 26-year old defenseman Patrik Koch, who signed a one-year deal with the Coyotes last summer, should leave the team and move to Russia to play in the KHL.
Considering that the relocation of the team involves moving to a new city, it won't be surprising to see some players decide to jump ship.
