Trade Talks Officially Picking Up for Canadiens Winger

Reports of a potential trade for this Canadiens Winger are heating up after he was recalled from the minors this week.

Joel Armia is a unique case for the Montreal Canadiens. It was rumoured that the Canadiens tried to move him this offseason, but the biggest constraint was his $3.4 million cap hit. The Canadiens had sent Armia down at the beginning of the year.

Now, reports have surfaced that the Canadiens are re-engaging in trade talks.

Armia has been performing pretty well so far this year in the AHL, and now the Canadiens will look to showcase his skills in order to facilitate a potential move. Hopefully, he can perform up to his cap hit while with the club.
