A jealous ex-boyfriend is accused of killing five people, including 24-year-old goalie Florian Janny, at a ski village near Kitzbuhel, Austria Sunday morning.

“I have just killed five people,” the man, identified by police as just Andreas, told officers as he placed a gun and knife on the counter of the police station in Kitzbuhel.

The 25-year-old allegedly murdered Nadine H (as identified by police), Andreas' 19-year-old former partner, her parents Rupert H, 59, and Andrea H, 51, Nadine's 25-year-old brother Kevin H and Nadine's current boyfriend Florian Janny.

Janny had just played his very first game with the EC Kitzbuhel of the Alps Hockey League. He had wowed in his debut, recording a 1.54 goals against average and a .947 save percentage.

Police described Andreas as a “calm” and “quiet” person with only minor criminal offences to his name before this horrific incident.
