Calgary Flames forward
Matthew Tkachuk may have received the most interesting penalty call ever assessed in the NHL.
The young forward was on the bench when a puck was shot near the bench, and he jumped up to stop it from possibly going into the stands and striking a fan. He ended up deflecting the puck straight down with some incredible hand-eye coordination, but he did receive a minor interference penalty.
It was difficult to determine if the puck would have gone out of play or not, but nevertheless it was a pretty cool act of athleticism from the young star despite the penalty.
