The second round has begun, and one of the most awaited matchups; the New York Rangers, and Carolina Hurricanes, are facing off in game 2.

Tensions are high between the two teams, who both took down their first-round opponents, notably the Washington Capitals and New York Islanders, rather easily. Both are looking to seal a ticket to the Conference finals, and both teams are built for playoff success.

Considering they are both looking to earn an edge, former second overall pick Andrei Svechnikov decided to go after Rangers goalie Igor Shesterkin.

As of right now, the Carolina Hurricanes lead the New York Rangers 2-1 in the game, and are looking to tie up the series. Do you think this dirty move will give the Hurricanes the edge they need over the President's Trophy winning Rangers?

No matter what, this will only raise tensions further. For the sake of our entertainment, we can hope it leads to a big fight!
