The game between the Canadiens and the Maple Leafs is still in progress, but fans have already witnessed a crazy fight between Ryan Reaves and Michael Pezzetta.
During the first half of the second period, Pezzetta delivered a nasty hit against the Leafs' David Kampf. This hit resulted in Reaves challenging Pezzetta to a fight to pay for what he did to his teammate.
When the fight started, things seemed to be pretty equal between the two, until Reaves' superior strength took over, causing him to end the fight rather quickly.

It seems that Reaves wasn't finished after the fight, here is footage of him chirping Pezzetta from the penalty box after McMann scored:
Auston Matthews can be seen reacting to the fight in the following clip, it appears that he found the fight entertaining:

It is clear from watching the replays that Reaves did not hold back during the fight, delivering punch after punch once he realized that he outmatched his opponent. He was even taunting the Canadiens bench as he was escorted to the penalty box. Would he have been so bold if the Sherrif, Xhekaj, was around and not injured?
