Despite the victory saving the Bruins season, Jim Montgomery had an hilarious scene on the Bruins bench during the match versus the Florida Panthers.
Emotions were as high as ever tonight as the Boston Bruins and Florida Panthers compete in game 5 of their second round 2024 Stanley Cup Playoffs series. A loss for Boston means an exit from the postseason, and head coach Jim Montgomery is doing all he can to make sure that doesn't happen.During the second period, Bruins defenseman Mason Lohei took a penalty which was deemed as a dive from a Panthers player, well, according to Jim Montgomery of course.
"Can't get mad about that one that's a hook all day, [Eetu] Luostarinen might've gone down a liiiiiittle easy but Lohrei has to be smarter there especially knowing FLA has been drawing calls all series long."
It just shows how competitive Jim Montgomery is and the expecations and measures he would take for his team. The Bruins have themselves a elite coach full of passion and shall they overcome the impossible odds of beating the Panthers, Montgomery will be the most loved man in Boston.
