After a period of concern from Washinton Capitals fans, Ethan Bear has recently entered the NHL player assistance program.

Ethan Bear is a new member of the Washington Capitals, joining them for the 2023-2024 season. It seems, however, that this 26-year-old defenseman has been dealing with personal issues, as it was just announced that he will be away from the team indefinitely after entering the NHL player assistance program.
"Ethan Bear will be away from the #caps for an indefinite period while receiving care from the NHL/NHLPA Player Assistance Program."

While fans overwhelmingly wish Bear well, they are growing more concerned about the state of many NHLers as the number of players in the assistance program continues to climb.

Though the Capitals have been dealing with issues regarding their stay in their hometown, fans were quick to move past that to send positive thoughts to the former Oiler, who many recognize as a positive person. He is one of the newest players on the Capitals, but it is clear his audience has taken a liking to him.
With this coming after a period of more players entering the assistance program, fans are split between concern for the players and relief that more NHLers are more comfortable asking for the help they need.
"There has been a very alarming number of players entering the program this year. I hope they all get the help they need"
"Wishing Ethan all the best.

So glad to see more and more players not only recognizing, but utilizing this program to get the help that they need"
While we do not know all the reasons behind Ethan Bear's decision to enter the Player Assistance Program, we hope you can join us in wishing him all the best in dealing with whatever he is going through.
