Despite dropping their last five games, Columbus Blue Jackets general manager Jarmo Kekalainen is reportedly not going to make a coaching change, according to Aaron Portzline of The Althletic.

Sources tell Portzline that Kekalainen will address the media on Tuesday and show his support for head coach John Tortorella.

Kekalainen wasn't pleased after Sunday's loss against Nashville, their fifth loss in as many games.

"We are terrified of making mistakes and that reflects in our lack of puck possession and inability to make plays." Kekalainen said Sunday via text. "We started well (on Sunday in Nashville), but after the first goal, panic set in. You can't play at this level if you are afraid of making a mistake and don't want the puck."

He added that the team, and organization is in this together and that it's time to turn things around.

"We're all part of it." Kekalainen told The Athletic late last week. "We always talk about winning as a team and losing as a team. Well, we all have to take responsibility, starting with myself, the coaching staff, everybody else."

"How can we get better? It's not about one guy or two guys. We talked about how our personnel has changed. But, at the same time, it's not that different from the team that beat Toronto in the (qualifying round) last year."

Tortorella, 62, has been the head coach in Columbus for parts of the last six seasons. He's amassed a record of 217-150-47 in 414 regular season games, while leading the team to the playoffs in each of the last four seasons.

The Blue Jackets will look to end their five-game losing streak when they host the last place Detroit Red Wings on Tuesday night.
