The Columbus Blue Jackets lost their fifth game in a row on Sunday afternoon at the hands of the Nashville Predators. They currently sit in fifth place in the Discover Central Division with a record of 8-10-5 through 23 games, five points behind Chicago who occupy the final playoff spot.

In his postgame press conference, Blue Jackets head coach John Tortorella was asked by Aaron Portzline of The Athletic if he felt concerned about his job status.

"You know what...I never worry about that. I do my job the best I can. If people want to make decisions on me, that's their decision. I never worry about that. I go about my business, and I'm going to coach this team the best way I possibly can," Tortorella said.

Blue Jackets general manager Jarmo Kekalainen has made two major moves in the last six months, sending Josh Anderson to Montreal, and Pierre-Luc Dubois to Winnipeg. If the team continues to trend downward, it's possible a third big move could be made, this time including his head coach.

Columbus will look to snap their losing streak on Tuesday night against the Detroit Red Wings.
