The Buffalo Sabres have continued their slide of no success, even with multiple young and upcoming stars. A core with Jack Eichel, Taylor Hall, Victor Oloffson, and Rasmus Dahlin should be doing much better than 8th place in the East Division. In fact the Sabres have been so bad that they are currently tied for last in the league with the Ottawa Senators.

Jack Eichel has been involved in an insurmountable amount of trade rumors and other rumors suggesting that he wants to leave Buffalo, and now another superstar is speaking out against the play of the team. Rasmus Dahlin has come out saying how embarrassing the team's play has been so far through this season after back-to-back 3-0 losses to Philadelphia over the weekend.

Dahlin feels that the guys in the locker room can do something very special, but they have to find a way to put the puzzle together.

The problems for the Sabres are nothing new as the team has not made the playoffs since 2011, when they lost in the first round to the Philadelphia Flyers. Buffalo will have to find a way to turn their team into at least a contender or else they will risk losing key players just due to the fact of players becoming less interested in playing for a losing franchise.
