Today, the insider Frank Seravalli shared a major development concerning an incident that occured last night in a game between the New York Rangers and the New Jersey Devils.

Rangers' Matthew Rempe landed a dangerous hit on Devils' Nathan Bastian. Bastian remained on the ice for a few minutes and got helped off the ice by the medical staff while Rempe was ejected from the game.

Frank Seravalli has reported that there will be no hearing for Matthew Rempe for his controversial hit.

Rempe, at 6-foot-7 is indeed a tall player and this could've played a role in the League's decision.
