Guerin's Fate Revealed
The Minnesota Wild are known as a team that flies relatively under the radar compared to other teams in the league. However, they recently broke this narrative after GM Bill Guerin went under investigation putting the league on notice.
Insider Elliotte Friedman has recently provided an update on the Guerin investigation and what is to come for him.
With all signs pointing towards Guerin being able to stay the GM of the Wild, it seems as if his alleged breach of conduct was not a fireable offense.
Guerin's Busy Year
To say Guerin has been busy this year would be an understatement. He fired Head Coach Dean Evanson earlier this year and picked up John Hynes as his replacement.
On top of this, Guerin has brokered two trades so far this year, more than most other GMs.
With the Wild climbing the standings, it is likely Guerin is not done just yet and we could see them make another splash in the near future.
