Quebec City has been wanting an NHL team for years now. After a lot of rumours surrounding the Arizona Coyotes' relocation, the Quebec Government just took a major step to bring the NHL back.
Governement Pays the Kings to Train in Quebec
The LA Kings will spend a week of their training camp in Quebec.
The Govermnment "invested" $5M to make it happen, in hopes to facilitate the return of the Nordiques.
"The Quebec government will provide a subsidy of $5 million for the Los Angeles Kings of the NHL to spend a training camp week in Quebec in October 2024.
"It's consistent with other investments we do for other major events" -
