BREAKING: Ron McLean Sparks a Controversy on HNIC

Ron MacLean sparked a controversial discussion with recent statements this week.

While live on air Ron MacLean spoke about the pride tape ban in the NHL. He spoke in support of the LGBTQ+ community and bashed the NHL for banning the option to use the pride tape.

The comments by MacLean echo the comments of many other prominent figures around the NHL. A few voices spoke out against the pride jerseys last season. Now many more are speaking out against the banning of pride tape.

With all of the public backlash and complaints on the banning of pride tape one has to wonder if Gary Bettman and the NHL will allow the tape or find another compromise.
