Today it was announced that Los Angeles Kings Forward Filip Danault is facing a hefty fine. He is being fined for a dirty slash on Ross Colton in the Kings game last night against the Colorado Avalanche.

Danault escapes without a suspension but gets handed the maximum fine allowed by the NHL. The Kings are back in action on October 14th against the Carolina Hurricanes.
