The Buffalo Sabres have been busy as of late securing their team of the future. It looks like locking up Rasmus Dahlin wasn't enough, as the team as just announced an extension for fellow blue liner Owen Power.

The Buffalo Sabres have just announced that they've re-signed defenseman Owen Power to a massive seven year contract worth $8.35 million annually.

The former 1st overall selection is gearing up for his second season in the NHL. Power scored 35 points in 72 games last season, and will look to expand on that this year.
