The Buffalo Sabres announced on Monday that they have signed forward Jack Quinn to a three-year, entry-level contract.

“Jack's a Sabre,” said Sabres general manager Kevyn Adams. “I mean, I just felt like the work that our staff did in preparing was really important to understand his game."

“You see the ability for him to keep getting better. His athleticism is high. Just a lot of the metrics that we look at when we're scouting, he met and some. This was just a player that, the more work we did, the more excited we got.”

Quinn, 19, was selected 8th overall by the Sabres at this year's NHL Entry Draft. The Cobden, Ontario native had a monster 2019-20 season for the Ottawa 67's of the OHL, posting 52 goals and 89 points in just 62 games. This was a huge improvement from his rookie season in which he had 12 goals and 32 points in 61 contests. He will likely be back with the 67's for the 2020-21 campaign.
