Connor McDavid is one of the NHL's biggest stars and best players. The 26-year-old superstar has several 100-point seasons in the NHL. He was recently seen sharpening his skills in an unusual setting.

In a TikTok posted by Julia of TSN Connor McDavid can be seen skating around on a forecheck. The text on the screen of the TikTok says

While the short clip does not show who else may have been on the ice it is amusing to think of Connor McDavid's offseason training consisting of playing in a beer league. Imagine looking to have a chill game after work with your buddies and Connor McDavid shows up on the other team.

Getting a look into the offseason preparation of NHL stars is always very interesting. From McDavid playing beer league to Connor Bedard and Kent Johnson playing roller hockey each player has their own process into greatness. It will be interesting to see if these beer league games lead to any new tricks up McDavid's sleeve in 2023-24.
