Rick Jeanneret was one of the greatest play-by-play announcers in NHL history, and is honoured in the rafters at Keybank Arena in Buffalo.
He passed away this evening.
It is my sad duty to report that Hall of Fame broadcaster Rick Jeanneret, the legendary play-by-play man of the #Sabres, has died this evening. The team has confirmed the news.
RJ will be remembered as the heart and soul of the Sabres franchise. He'll be dearly missed.
