In a recent article by NHL Trade Talk, they went over the possibility of Mark Scheifele heading to the Bruins and how the likelihood is ever-decreasing citing multiple insiders.
Given where the Jets are right now and what they could command from the Bruins, they likely aren't good trade partners despite the Bruins' need for a first-line center.

If the Jets were to decide to move Scheifele out in a trade, the return would be massive.
Coming off a 42-goal season, Scheifele is worth a pretty penny and would command a high return.
Assuming the Jets do not retain any salary, they could easily get a young roster player, a top prospect, and a high pick in return for Scheifele's services.
However, if the Jets are willing to retain 50% of his salary, we could watch the Jets get even more than that as cap space is one of the most valuable assets in the NHL.
