Milan Lucic Shares How it Feels to Return to Boston
Milan Lucic is officially a Boston Bruin once more, as the forward signed a one-year deal with his former team recently. The grizzled veteran is known for his tough, unrelenting style of play, which will surely be appreciated in Boston again.
Lucic Reveals His Feelings Toward Boston
Lucic gave an interview recently, where he discussed how it feels to be headed back to Boston once again. He said the following:
"It's always felt like I've been a Bruin, and I'm just so happy and thankful for the opportunity to be a Bruin again" - Milan Lucic
We're sure that B-Town feels the same way toward Lucic, who was a huge part of their team for many years and won a Stanley Cup with them.
Replacing Losses
The Bruins went many years without a strong physical presence such as Lucic in their lineup, and will now have that added toughness once again.
They acquired Tyler Bertuzzi at last year's trade deadline, who provided a nice amount of grit, but nowhere near the amount that Lucic provides. Now that Lucic is back in black and gold, we're sure we'll see many more of his signature hits and fights.
We know Lucic is excited to be back in Boston, and we are too!
