At the last trade deadline, Capitals GM Brian MacLellan made some moves suggesting at least a partial rebuilding of the team.
He traded away Lars Eller, Marcus Johansson, Dmitry Orlov, Garnet Hathaway and Erik Gustafsson to gain yound players such as Rasmus Sandin and some valuable picks.
With the draft and the opening of the free agency market, some more moves were expected coming from Washington.
Pierre LeBrun confirmed on TSN that some rumors out there aren't true.
MacLellan Shut Down Major Rumor
There's been rumors of trading away Tom Wilson since the last deadline. However, a recent development confirmed that Wilson is not going anywhere.

Per Pierre LeBrun:
"He [MacLellan]'s not calling teams about Tom Wilson, he does not want to trade Tom Wilson, [and] he's not sure why that's out there".
The 29-year-old winger has a year left on his contract with a cap hit of $5.17 million.
Either he'll sign an extension in Washington, or he could be traded at the next deadline, where his value will probably be even higher.
