The questions about when and where will Pierre-Luc Dubois be traded can now come to a close, as he is officially being traded to the Los Angeles Kings!
Journalist Murat Ates, known for his extensive connections with the management of the Winnipeg Jets, has reported a significant development in the situation.
This doesn't, however, make the transaction official at this point.
To finalize the transaction, Dubois needs to come to terms on an eight-year deal with the Kings.
The process involves two major steps.
1) The General Managers of the Jets and the Kings must reach a mutual agreement for the trade.
2) Dubois needs to sign an 8-year contract with his prospective team, which is a significant condition for the trade.
Currently, we are at the second step. While it's a significant phase, it's also an essential one. The "trade" aspect has been addressed, but the "8-year contract" part is still pending.
Reliable sources suggest that the Kings are planning to trade Gabe Vilardi and Alex Iafallo, among others, to the Jets.

In his third season with the Jets, Dubois scored 27 goals and collected 63 points in 73 games. With this move, Dubois should be a magnificent fit into the Kings system with younger forwards such as Quinton Byfield.
Will Dubois fit in well in the Kings system?
