The guy pegged as the most gifted hockey player in an NHL draft since Connor McDavid seems to be pretty good with the chirps as well. Connor Bedard showed his chops last night while appearing on the NHL on TNT.

The Target

Connor Bedard took aim at Paul Bissonnette during his appearance. Bedard was asked what it was like to be attending the Stanley Cup finals and sitting next to the best player ever in Wayne Gretzky.

"Obviously, a couple of pretty good players on this panel...and Biz is here, too"

Great Personality

Bedard seems very calm for a 17-year-old who's waiting for what will surely be the biggest moment in his life so far when he's drafted first overall by the Chicago Blackhawks. It isn't just the hockey element that the team will love, but also Bedard's marketability. Bedard seems to be very easy going and humble. He often insists on taking the focus off himself and putting it on teammates when things are going well. Perhaps he can follow in Bissonnette and Gretzky's footsteps one day and be an analyst when what is likely to be a storied hockey career comes to an end.
