The Dallas Stars and the Vegas Golden Knights are set to continue their best-of-seven series on Saturday night. The Golden Knights are just one victory away from securing a Stanley Cup final showdown with the Florida Panthers.

Joe Pavelski prolonged the series, delivering a game-winning goal in overtime during game four. However, the Stars acknowledge the enormity of the challenge they face in mounting a comeback in the series.

Stars Backs Against The Wall

In a blow to their prospects, Stars' head coach Peter DeBoer has revealed that forward Evgenii Dadonov will not be available for Saturday night's game due to a lower body injury.

Dadonov was injured during game three when he crashed into the boards along with teammate Roope Hintz. He did not return to the game and subsequently missed game four.

No Dadonov For Dallas

This loss could have significant implications for the Stars, given Dadonov's key role in their offense. Since his acquisition from the Montreal Canadiens, he has been a major contributor. The absence of such a pivotal player is undoubtedly a setback as the Stars strive to keep their playoff hopes alive.
