The Calgary Flames have officially named a new GM and it is not who everybody expected.
Calgary Flames Officially Name New GM
There has been a lot of uncertainty regarding who the new GMs will be in the NHL but it looks like there will be a first time GM in Calgary.
NHL insider Darren Drager reported the following:

Conroe my was the Assistant GM to Brad Treliving and it appears Flames ownership has been content with his services.
This puts any Dubas to Calgary rumors to sleep and it looks like the Flames will want to continue along with what they think works.
