John-Jason Peterka came out running in the NHL this season after a brilliant AHL campaign in 2021-22.
The winger has a blistering shot and strong playmaking ability, and he could very well grow into an exciting middle-sixer for the Sabres as they become more competitive.
As a part of team Germany at the World Championship, he is truly shining, however.

Peterka shot this almost perpendicular to the post. He may not get these types of opportunity on NHL ice, but it is great to see such a young player showing this type of elite skill.
Add this to some of the best young players in the league, and the Sabres are going to be truly terrifying.
