Many people wondered how the Panthers managed to edge out the Hurricanes in their massive overtime win in game one of the Eastern Conference Final. Matthew Tkachuk has taken it upon himself to reveal the Panthers' secret to success, and it's not what you'd think!

Junk Food For the Win!

In order to stay energized ahead of the fourth overtime period in game one, Tkachuk reveals that the Panthers turned to junk food to fuel themselves.




While we can't confirm or deny the health benefits of Red Bull and pizza, we won't knock the practice, as it clearly worked out in Florida's favor! Tkachuk also stated his excitement to return to his hotel room and sleep, which was well deserved after a seven-period game.
