Matthew Tkachuk met with NHL Player Safety this morning to receive a punishment for an ugly cross check.

Hit on Hathaway

During the first period of Game 4 against the Boston Bruins, Florida Panthers player Matthew Tkachuk cross-checked Bruins player Garnet Hathaway, sending him down to the ice for several minutes.

Tkachuk was given a two minute penalty for the cross-check.
