Drew Doughty issues warning to Connor McDavid ahead of game one

With game one of the NHL playoffs set to get underway tonight between the LA Kings and Edmonton oilers. we're already getting a little smack-talk between the teams. Still unhappy about a recent hit star player Connor McDavid landed on the Kings' Mikey Anderson the last time they met, notable pest Drew Doughty told reporters his team won't be stupid about it, but McDavid is definitely a target.

"We didn't feel good about it," said Doughty, regarding the hit.

"It's not something we'll forget."

"If we get a chance to smack him, we're going to try to do that," Doughty stated.

There will be a few players on the ice for each side that are likely to get into the rough stuff right away. This series should be a good one, regardless of how long or short it happens to be.
