The Buffalo Sabres announced on Friday that they've agreed to terms on a three-year, entry-level contract with top prospect G
Devon Levi.
Levi, 21, is arguably one of the best goaltending prospects in the entire National Hockey League and his numbers with Northeastern University definitely back up that claim. In 66 games in his NCAA career, Levi had a record of 38-12-6 with a 1.90 GAA, a .942 save percentage and
16 shutouts. 24% of the games Levi appeared in during his college career, he recorded a shutout.
According to Lance Lysowski of The Buffalo News, Levi is expected to report to the Sabres, rather than the AHL, once he completes the immigration process, but more details are expected to come later today.
