Early in the first period of Tuesday game between the Chicago Blackhawks and Montreal Canadiens, Josh Anderson came to the defence of his captain, Nick Suzuki, after a hit from Connor Murphy.

After the hit, Anderson skated toward Murphy, they exchanged some words and then dropped the gloves. The tilt itself didn't last too long, with Josh Anderson getting the better of his counterpart, landing several punches before taking Murphy to the ice.

Anderson received a total of 17 penalty minutes, two for instigating, five for fighting and a ten minute misconduct, while Murphy received only five for fighting.
