The New Jersey Devils will have a big boost added to their lineup tonight, as Ondrej Palat is set to return from injury that has kept him out since Oct. 24.

Palat, 31, suffered a groin injury just six games into his Devils tenure. The two-time Stanley Cup Champion joined the organization this summer after inking a five-year, $30 million deal in free agency. Prior to his injury, he had notched three goals in six games.

Heading into the 2022-23 season, many expected the Devils to once again finish near the bottom of the league standings. Instead, they sit second in the Metropolitan Division with an impressive 24-11-3 record. Adding Palat should help them continue what has been a fantastic year so far. He is expected to slot in on the second line alongside Nico Hischier and Jesper Bratt in tonight's contest versus the St. Louis Blues.
