A very blatant elbow led to a player being ejected from the game Thursday in the Swedish Hockey League (SHL). Simon Bertilsson, who plays for Brynas, caught Radan Lenc of HV71 near the blueline with a hard hit that included an elbow right to the face. Lenc's helmet went flying off while he was falling to the ice. He would need help getting back to the dressing room. Bertilsson received a five minute major as well as his game misconduct. There was no blood visible in the video, but a teammate did bring over a towel while Lenc was being checked on by the trainer, so it's likely he was leaking somewhere. He'll feel this one for a while.
