During the first period of Thursday's Bronze Medal Game between Sweden and the United States, Boston Bruins 2021 first-round pick Fabian Lysell was given a five-minute major and game misconduct for checking to the head.

Lysell went to make a hit on Kenny Connors, but catches the LA Kings prospect up high with his shoulder. The call on the ice was a five-minute major for checking to the head and upon a review by the officials, the call was upheld and Lysell was ejected from the game.

It was a disappointing tournament for Lysell, who had no points in Sweden's seven games.
