Dylan Larkin Gets Uncomfortable Over Contract Question 20 Minutes Before Puck Drop

When TNT secured a portion of the NHL's broadcasting rights, fans were elated. Their coverage of the NBA has been spectacularly entertaining, and the hope was that would carry over.

Paul Bissonnette occupies a key role on their NHL panel - along with Anson Carter, Rick Tocchet, and Liam McHugh - and sometimes gets...colorful.

During TNT's Wednesday night broadcast, the panel interviewed Detroit Red Wings captain Dylan Larkin before puck drop. Bissonnette asked Larkin about his contract and if he thinks he will be on the team next season.

15 minutes before the game, Larkin was clearly caught off guard and danced around the question, although he handled himself well. Take a look:

That was a rough question given the time and place, and the discomfort in Larkin was obvious. After some lighthearted back-and-forth, Larkin asked 'I got permission to leave?!' and handed off the headset.
